Rayo Paseo sarongs are versatile beach accessories produced ethically in Melbourne. I created four sarong designs for their launch collection, taking inspiration from long slow days at the beach. The designs are inspired by the art of finding the perfect shell or bit of sea glass, drawing lines and patterns in the sand, watching the sun dip below the horizon and the native plants lining the walk back home.
The Rayo Paseo branding utilises soft sand and sky colours reminiscent of the beach. I designed two versions of the logo: sans-serif with custom letterforms to promote a high-end feeling brand, and a “signature” to be printed on the distinctive sarongs.
