Rayo Paseo produces versatile beach sarongs. I created four sarong designs for their launch collection, taking inspiration from long slow days at the beach. The designs are inspired by the art of finding the perfect shell or bit of sea glass, drawing lines and patterns in the sand, watching the sun dip below the horizon and the native plants lining the walk back home.

I also developed the logo and branding. There are two logos: a custom logotype to promote an luxurious yet accessible feeling for brand, and a “signature” logo to be printed on the sarongs. The colour palette is reminiscent of the beach, with soft sand and sky tones.

The Wurundjeri People of the Kulin nation are the Traditional Owners of the land on which I work. I pay my respects to elders past, present and future. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
